When you're looking for somewhere cool & cozy to eat, I highly recommend Le Derriere, a real hidden treasure in the marais.
What sets this restaurant apart is the amazing atmosphere, you really feel like you're eating at someone's destroyed boho french baroque home. With many rooms to discover, its impossible to get bored: in between courses you can play a round of ping pong, visit the perplexing bathrooms and wash your hands in a bath tub... or you can try to find the secret smoking room.
Even more interesting is that the place used to be a sweatshop, and was completely transformed by its notoriously in vogue owner Mourad Mazouz along with designer Barbie Sloan. Oh, and the food isn't so bad either.
